We Listen to Our Community – Nuisance Parking in Chapel 

Following concerns raised by local residents, our Safer Neighbourhood Team attended an area in Chapel where a vehicle was causing an obstruction by parking across a dropped kerb and was parked inconsiderately.

After assessing the situation, appropriate action was taken, and a parking ticket was issued.

Dropped kerbs are there to help people safely cross the road, including wheelchair users, people with pushchairs, and those with mobility difficulties. Parking across them can cause unnecessary inconvenience and create safety risks.
